What can i say? When i hired vancity transport and exchanged questions and answers to make sure the move would go perfect without a glitch and for the price agreed, i had envisioned giving this mover 5 stars and a good recommendation. His promptness and timely calls and emails are the only reason im giving this mover 2 stars. But today on the day of the move, he called this morning saying he would be an hour late. Thats fine. So my friends are patiently waiting while im very busy with my own jobs at work. Hour and half later, my friend tells me that the movers arent here yet. Then finally after 2 hours, they show up, look at the stuff to be moved and told my friend and his wife that he would be back with a bigger van in 15-20 min. Another hour goes by and no show so we call and he hung up and turned his phone off. I mean, how low can you be? This is a business they are running. There are both highs and lows in a business as i have had many over the years. If you are only going to do the highs and not be ready to accept any lows, then you shouldn't operate a business period. The mover could have talked to us if he thought he underbid and we would have paid him more and even helped him but showing up late, lying and running away without any means of reaching them is not very professional.

Excellent price, the guys worked hard, everything went smoothly, all of my stuff was in the exact same condition. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and I will be using them again this week to do the rest of my move.
